    Growing up in a Mexican household you grow up thinking your mom's tamales are the best. Let me tell you now that's not true!!! Man oh man these tamales are on point. Make sure you stop by and show some love.

    Wow where do I begin with this review... I happen to be driving down Western Boulevard one night and happened to glance to my left out of the corner of my eye. As I'm going through the intersection I catch a quick glimpse of a sign that says "The Tamale Man". The name is intriguing in itself and I happen to be a little bit hungry so I said what the heck and pulled a u-turn to go check this place out. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman claiming that these were the best tamales in California. Well I was intrigued by the statement and there was no turning back now so I had to try these so-called best tamales in California for myself. Well when the food arrived my mouth dropped. I ordered a chicken tamale and a salmon special tamale I could not believe my eyes when I saw that each tamale was almost a foot long. Never have I seen tamales this big. So I went to the condiments cart piled on my Salsa, cilantro and onions and dug-in. I didn't even get the rice and beans that come with it I just got the tamales and man I'm telling you these things will fill you up and they taste great as well. If you got one tamale with beans and rice with avocado and cheese you will not leave hungry. I will definitely be going back again so thank you my man at the front counter your recommendation was right on. Mucho gracias!

    Tamales are delicious especially the super tamales with any variety of meat. Their a little prices but worth every penny. It's not fancy but the service was good and the owner very friendly.
